This was formerly the master bedroom of Mira Monte - an airy, corner room with queen canopy bed and a regular twin bed. A velvet fainting couch adds to the elegant feeling. There is a fireplace and a private bath with a tub/shower.
NEWPORT
Premium Room, 2nd Floor
Five windows with views of the grounds and gardens add to the charm of this room. With a queen bed, a gas fireplace with remote control, custom- tiled large shower, and a private covered balcony overlooking the estate grounds romance is in the air.
ROCKAWAY
Whirlpool Room, 2nd Floor
The bay window with the original diamond-paned French doors leading to the private balcony (overlooking the rear lawn and gardens) makes this a "Gem" of a room. The gas fireplace with remote control, flatscreen TV, and the queen bed with decorative scrolled headboard entice you to relax. The double whirlpool tub with hot air jets, chromotherapy lighting and ozone water purifying system plus bath robes provides the finishing diamond touch in your "re-creation" vacation.
BELMONT
Quality Room, 2nd Floor
A large bay window with a velvet fainting couch catches your eye immediately when you enter this room. A four-poster king bed faces the Franklin-style fireplace. The shower bath boasts a solar tube ceiling light that greatly enhances the normal lighting in the efficient bathroom. Decorated with elegant reproduction wallpaper, the room gives you a real feeling of the original ambience- circa 1880.
MALVERN
Whirlpool Room, 2nd Floor
Corner guest room that is reminiscent of a bygone era yet offers all the modern amenities for today's traveler: a four poster king bed, seating area, Franklin Stove fireplace, flatscreen TV, and a private balcony overlooking the formal gardens. A whirlpool tub with shower, towel warmer and bath robes complete this room.
ATLANTIC
Whirlpool Room, 2nd Floor
An original queen brass bed with a circular quarter canopy and a bay window seating area welcome you to classic Bar Harbor. A gas fireplace with remote control, flatscreen TV, and a corner whirlpool tub plus bath robes welcome you to modern Bar Harbor. A private balcony overlooks the formal gardens.
RODICK
Quality Room, 2nd Floor
This charming quiet room features a bay alcove with three windows for a sitting area and a private balcony overlooking the grounds and rear gardens in the distance. It has a queen bed and a shower bath with added solar tube lighting.
LOUISBURG
Premium Room, 2nd Floor
This room is located at the end of the 2nd floor wing and is very private and quiet. Six windows plus a covered private balcony make this room very light and airy. The private tub/showerbath, the seating area and the Franklin-style stove fireplace complete the ambience.
ST. SAUVEUR
Whirlpool Room, 1st Floor
This room is tucked into the corner of the wing and the main house and is quiet and private. The king bed can be made into two twins upon request. Seating is in an alcove with a sliding door window wall that opens onto a private deck overlooking the rear terrace and lawns. This romantic room has a large scallop shell style headboard and a French ambience plus a whirlpool tub, bath robes, flatscreen TV and a gas fireplace.
WEST END
Whirlpool Room, 1st Floor
This large pleasant room with French country décor has one king bed and one twin (tucked into a cozy alcove). The large, covered porch looks over the rear lawns and gardens.. There is a flatscreen TV, gas fireplace with remote control, a corner whirlpool bath/shower, heated towel rack and bath robes .This room can accept a rollaway for a family with two adults and two children. (We do not put adults on rollaway beds).
DES ISLE
Premium Room, 1st Floor
A room of quiet charm located at the end of the first floor wing with a bay window for seating and large private deck overlooking the lawns. A queen bed and full bath complete the ambience.
MARLBOROUGH
Whirlpool Room, 1st Floor
Opening onto the large deck which faces the side yard gardens, this room is a beautiful quiet romantic room. The queen canopy bed, fireplace, bay window seating area, flatscreen TV and the large double whirlpool tub/shower, heated towel rack, plus bath robes - all combine to provide a memorable experience on your vacation.. This room is also handicap accessible when we bring in the transfer bench for the tub/shower.
AGAMONT
Quality Room, 1st Floor
The Agamont has a queen canopy bed, a lovely bay with diamond-paned windows and seating, full bath, and a covered private deck which overlooks the rear terrace and lawns. This first floor room is handicap accessible. We have a transfer bench for use in the tub/shower.
